Josh Masters of Richmond's McNair Marlins was one of the leading scorers at the 1995 British Columbia senior boys AAA basketball tournament, scoring 123 points in four games — a 30.8 points-per-game average — as McNair achieved its highest finish in school history, fourth place.
Masters scored 27 against Kelowna, 36 in an 88-87 upset of St. Michaels, 22 in the semi-final against Ladysmith and 34 in the bronze medal game against Vancouver College.
Two years earlier, in February 1993, Masters had scored 38 points — 33 of them in the first half — as McNair beat Killarney 117-80 in a Lower Mainland AAA back-door playoff game, the game in which Killarney's Brian Seebaran scored 62 points (the Vancouver Sun, February 26, 1993, reported his total as 60).
